Found in the historical Pigeon Island National Park, home to the world-renowned Saint Lucia Jazz Festival, this rustic but charming water-side café exudes incredible character. Jambe de Bois also serves as a book-exchange and features several affordable, unique art pieces. Sequestered by lush vegetation on one side and the water on the other, this rustic, arty café offers a serene, one-of-a-kind dining experience. Aside from their delicious food, they also offer intriguing live music on Saturday nights.

Food

The menu at Jambe de Bois features traditional St. Lucian breakfast to hearty lunches and enjoyable dinners of local and international cuisine. Curried lamb or King fish and seafood lasagna are all delicious. A variety of tasty sandwiches, fresh salads and colourful cocktails are served by friendly staff.

Most guests consider the level of formality and service here to be very casual. Diners are welcome to come by to enjoy both dinner and lunch, so give it a try. You might discover some dishes that you fall in love with.

Location

Situated in the heart of Pigeon Island, Jambe de Bois is on the premises of  Pigeon Island National Landmark.

A short walk from the entrance to the park, you will walk past sceneic Pigeon Island vistas, two picturesque  small private beaches as well as a number of park ruins along the way. This can be a pleasant area to discover. The main attraction in the area is Fort Rodney, which is just a short hiking distance away.
